I'm a crunchy, Christian mama of one boy and two girls. I blog in my free time but motherhood is my priority. Although I fall into the "crunchy" category of moms, I strive more for balance. I hope this blog gives you ideas and encourages you to be your best!
My Food Philosophy
I think my food philosophy is pretty simple. Basically, I believe in using food to prevent illness and to heal my body. I follow the latest health and nutrition research and try my best to feed my family accordingly. Living off of one income means that eating the ideal diet just isn't possible. With this blog, I try to keep in mind that there are many others like me who can't just go to the local farmer and buy raw, organic sheep's milk for $11 a gallon, or order $18 grass-fed beef gelatin online. When I write posts I will not only offer my opinion about what's best to eat, but I will also offer less expensive alternatives. Remember, healthy living should not be a burden or a chore. That defeats the purpose.
